Latest PAS 24 Compatible Trojan Innovations Now Available From Window Ware

Our first new addition is Trojan’s super stylish TS007 2* high security door handle, which helps fabricators and installers meet Document Q requirements for less. Rather than paying premium price for 3* cylinders, they can now combine the TS007 2* handle with a lower-priced 1* cylinder to achieve PAS 24 and the TS007 requirement for a 3* security solution more cost effectively, as well as complete peace of mind for their customers.

The handle is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and comes with a 25-year anti-corrosion guarantee on all finishes for ultimate corrosion resistance. Superior quality and design, a 10-year mechanical guarantee plus a patented spring cassette eliminates “drooping handle” effect and offers unbeatable durability. It’s available in a choice of finishes including PVD gold, chrome, white and black powder coated over stainless. The TS007 2* handle coordinates perfectly with the rest of the Trojan stainless steel range and is ideal for use in both PVC-U and composite doors with spindle lengths to suit door thicknesses of 44mm up to 75mm.

The second new arrival is Trojan’s next generation Athena hinge which breaks away from traditional bulky door hinges in favour of a more subtle, slimline solution. But don’t let lean looks deceive you; these hinges are tough! Their double knuckle offers increased load bearing and when used in triplicate they have a combined carrying weight of 100kg, making them perfect for heavy duty applications such as large doors and triple glazed doors. What’s more, the Athena hinge can achieve PAS 24:2016 as part of a door assembly, so complies with all the latest security legislation.

The Athena hinge comes pre-assembled for a fast fit straight from the box, while full float technology allows easy, accurate and independent 3D adjustment with the door in the closed position, making life much easier when installing. Its lift on, lift off design simplifies the fitting process even further. This reliable product is performance tested to 100,000 cycles, guaranteed mechanically for 10 years, corrosion tested to BS EN 1670 and boasts a range of high-grade paint and plate finishes including white, black, brown, oak (UV stabilised), chrome, PVD gold and satin silver.
