Job Position: Window Fabricator
HOURS – Hours will be 7:30 a.m. through to 4:00 p.m.
(with a 15 min morning break and then 45 min lunch break.)
= 7.5 hrs daily Monday to Thursday
Hours each Friday 7.30 a.m. through to 3:30 p.m.
(with a 15 min morning break and then 45 min lunch break)
= 7.0 hrs daily
TOTAL WEEKLY HOURS = 37
HOLIDAY STARTS AT 20 DAYS PER FULL CALENDAR YEAR
The successful individual will need to have a can do attitude,
fit in with the factory / shop floor team and work to
an ethos of Right First Time, On Time, Every time.
Arrive ready to start work in plenty of time to be in working area for 07.30a.m.
To assist in the manufacture of Products – for our Sliding Sash Windows
– produced by the Company in accordance with Company process instructions.
There may be a requirement for operators to lift heavy components.
Adhere to any Health & Safety or PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
requirements within Masterframe Windows Ltd.
Carry out any reasonable instructions / Tasks asked by Team Leader or Manager.
To work to a satisfactory standard of company agreed efficiencies.
To demonstrate personal performance against agreed timings by completing necessary performance documentation.
To use machinery in the production process in accordance with procedures and training and in a safe manner reporting any safety issues to your Team Leader.
To assist with maintenance and up keep of machinery used.
To ensure work is carried out in accordance with company Quality Standards at all times.
Keeping a clean and tidy work station / area.
To assist company progression by working on and towards company objectives.
To assist in all area’s of the Production process and having a flexible approach to demands.
Where employees in correct performance of their duties are required to complete & submit system documentation this must be completed within times scales specified and accurate for the purpose required.
All employees may on occasions be reasonably requested to undertake assignments that may fall outside of their normal working hours. In this context employees may be reasonably required to undertake work not defined in the Principal accountabilities of this job description.
