Job Position: Service Engineer

Job Description:

TruFrame Ltd is one of the largest independent manufacturers of uPVC windows and doors in the UK. Drawing on over twenty years’ experience in the industry we are a fast-growing and ever-evolving business.

The Service Engineer is responsible for effectively assessing and repairing Upvc windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products to the highest of standards.

They will be responsible for providing an outstanding level of service to all customers and stakeholders, both in a customer-facing environment and over the telephone which will contribute to the overall success of the Company.

A vehicle will be provided (for work purposes only).

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

– To effectively assess, assemble, repair and commission Upvc windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products to the highest of standards
– To provide efficient and professional service work
– To provide exceptional customer service to ensure that the Company’s excellent reputation is maintained
– To consistently provide expertise and technical advice to customers and colleagues
– To ensure that the customer is kept informed about all relevant activities and is debriefed before leaving the site
– Ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner, and is legible
– To be able to respond to difficult situations in a calm and patient manner, and feel confident in asking for further assistance from your line manager (if and when required)

Person Specification:

– Possess solid experience in the manufacture, repair and installation of Upvc glazing products, such as windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products
– Possess a site CSCS card
– Personable nature
– Approachable personality and positive nature
– Professional and courteous at all customer levels
– Proactive approach and lots of initiative
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to work on own initiative
– Ability to work under pressure
– Computer literate
– Hold a full clean driving licence

Hours: 40 per week

Salary: Competitive

Location: Orpington, South East, South West & London

Must be flexible to work additional hours to meet the nature of the role and the needs of the business.
