My client is a large, successful manufacturer and installer of uPVC window and door products, currently recruiting for a Late Shift Production Manager based in Suffolk.
The successful applicant will need to give leadership and direction to the team, conduct reviews, meetings, evaluations and risk assessments. They will liaise with other managers and departments to ensure best practise is effectively embraced. They will work closely with the HSE co-ordinator and the site management team to ensure the necessary services, equipment, procedures and registers are developed and maintained. All housekeeping standards are to be specified, maintained and reviewed with regular audits. They must ensure an effective training and development program is in place for all employees and that the team members are trained and developed to evaluate, utilise and control the existing processes. Appraisal tools and techniques are to be developed to drive improvement of individuals and the team as a whole. Regular briefing sessions are to be held with all those involved updating on key department, equipment, customer and business performance, opportunities and risks.
Applicants will lead the team in a professional yet positive manner displaying consistency, honesty and integrity at all times. All company HR policies are to be applied and embraced and recruitment, induction and employment policies are to be applied. All Health and Safety methods and standards are to be developed and applied across all elements of the department’s activities. They will ensure all agreed budgets for the production are tracked, reported and achieved in line with current budgets and targets as well as tracking the daily performance.
Candidates must have previous management experience and also be experience within the windows and doors industry.
