As a Business Development Manager you will play an integral part in the sales team, where you will work closely with the Sales Manager and be responsible for the growth in new customer sales and for renewing relationships with inactive customers. The role will be mainly office based but you will be required to visit customers with the Sales Manager and attend sales appointments – with use of the company pool car. The main duties of the role are to grow and develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company, restart trading relationships with inactive customers, identify opportunities for campaigns to drive sales and ultimately identify opportunities to develop new distribution channels.
