We have a great opportunity for a Contract Administrator to embark on a career with a very well-respected aluminium fabricator and installation business who supply a range of window, doors and curtain walling systems. Based in Essex, the role with involve liaising between the factory, suppliers and the customers to ensure that all material requirements are processed and actioned in accordance with timescales and the client’s specification. This will include ordering sufficient quantities of aluminium profile, making sure that stock levels are correct and that all delivery notes are retained and checked against the goods. The role will also include entering information on the company’s estimating system and getting client approval on contracts using construction drawings.
Whilst there will be training on systems and procedures it would be an advantage if you already had some experience of working with commercial glazing systems and were able to interpret corresponding drawings and specifications. You will need to be detail conscious, be able to plan effectively and be able to take accountability for the successful flow of materials for each contract. Good computer and communication skills will be essential.
