The role as Project Co-ordinator will involve analysing tenders and enquiries on commercial glazing projects, understanding the customer’s requirements, recommending and pricing solutions then processing the orders through to the factory and dealing with the installation and any on-site issues. You will be part of the company’s Technical Department dealing with customers over the telephone, via e-mail and face to face including meetings with Design Teams and Contractors from time to time to provide essential technical support. You will be required to track and quote for projects using bespoke glazing software and your role will include following up submittals to customers in order to convert enquiries in line with commercial parameters. It is based from the company’s Head Office in Essex with occasional travel to site.
The successful person will need to have a technical appreciation of window and door glazing projects, preferably in aluminium and be familiar with relevant Building Regulations. You will need good problem solving skills along with a commercial appreciation of projects and should be comfortable using pricing and processing software. Candidates should be good team players with excellent communication skills.
