The Camden Group are nominated for three sustainability awards in Ireland’s high-profile plant and civil engineer awards.

Camden has been shortlisted in the Environmental Initiative, Wastes Management & Environmental Excellence and Circular Economy categories of the Construction, Quarry & Recycling Awards 2019.

Organised by Plant & Civil Engineer magazine, the awards celebrate excellence, outstanding contributions and unrivalled levels of service and innovation across Ireland’s plant, construction, quarrying, agricultural and civil engineering sectors.

Camden is the largest manufacturer of uPVC windows and doors in Ireland and the UK, with full onsite recycling, extrusion, design, production and logistics facilities.

Heavy investment in sustainability initiatives has enabled the company to recycle almost 50,000 tonnes of waste uPVC over the past 5 years and develop the greenest product range on the market.

These award nominations come off the back of Camden successfully being shortlisted in two other sets of awards. The company are nominated for two categories in the forthcoming Glass and Glazing Awards, and were nominated in five categories of the recent National

Fenestration Awards, in which the company won the Sliding Patio Door Company of the Year award.

Over 500 guests are expected to attend the Construction, Quarry & Recycling Awards 2019, taking place at the Crowne Plaza in Belfast on 21st November.
