Chase Taylor Recruitment are looking for an Account Manager for an award winning, successful, and growing UK fenestration distributor with an annual turnover of £20m. They specialise in the sales, marketing, sourcing and distribution of branded door and window hardware products and require a dedicated Account Manager to join their Sales Team.
You will be managing a customer base that spans different routes to market including large uPVC and Aluminium Fabricators, National uPVC Trade Counter Networks and large Hardware Repair Specialists. In addition, as part of your role, you will look to target and build relationships with other large Windows & Door Fabricators (500+ Frames per week) working strategically and also supporting your local Area Sales Manager to generate and convert interest. Another key element to the role will be to take part and lead project work for example when introducing a new product or strengthening relationships with their Brand Partners and Profile Companies. You will also be gathering information on competitors for market analysis and to ensure that the Sales Function stays ahead of the competition, feeding back into other departments as necessary and devising ways to increase market share.
The role would suit somebody with a solid knowledge of the Window & Door Hardware industry, a relationship builder with first class communication and presentation skills. A technical understanding of window & door hardware products would be desirable and candidates should have excellent commercial skills and be aware of current and up-coming Building Regulations that affect the industry.
Whilst this is a National Role with travel to customers throughout the UK, the ideal candidate would probably be based North of Birmingham to reflect the current client list.
As well as providing a platform to make an impact the role comes with a competitive remuneration package and a good deal of autonomy with an envisaged 50:50 split of working form home and travelling to appointments.
