Windows/Door Surveyor

Due to current high workloads and continued growth demands, Camel Group are looking to employ a full-time Surveyor to join their successful and hardworking team for an immediate start based in Wadebridge. Top rates of pay, company vehicle, work wear and good terms offered to the right candidate.

Job Role:

Carry out site surveys of current and future projects, confirming all specifications/details with client. Taking jobs from point of sale, through to fitting, by liaising with clients, confirming their requirements, ensuring all regulation requirements are met, building FIT packs, carrying out risk assessments, and any tasks related to site surveys.

Asses onsite conditions for access and safety that may impact installation.

Be able to carry out remedial repairs to uPVC/aluminium frames which we have installed.

Completing all necessary paperwork in line with Camel Group’s procedures.

Serving our customers politely, professionally and with a “can do” attitude.

Visit sites & premises to measure for new & replacement installations.

Adhering to Health & Safety policies.

Will be expected to complete job-specific survey forms, including checking all details & specifications.

Expected to work primarily individually, or from time to time, as part of a team of surveyors.

To fit this role you will need to:

Be proficient in basic computer skills.

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in surveying.

Have knowledge of a range of uPVC & aluminium systems.

Have knowledge of construction processes & current building regulations.

Have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to problem-solve.

Be a good team player who can also work independently.

Be a good communicator.

Be presentable, approachable, positive, and polite.

Be motivated, energetic, and passionate about your work.

Have great customer relations skills.

Hold a full driving License.

Construction/safety related training such as SMSTS, NVQs or any closely related discipline would be advantageous, but is not essential.
