Commercial Estimator – MM3192

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful glazing business in Buckinghamshire. They are looking to recruit an experienced window and door Estimator / Sales Estimator to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have Estimated Aluminium / uPVC windows and doors for commercial projects such as schools, hospitals, and social housing etc.

The role:

• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations
• Advising and supporting customers with specification and compliance queries
• Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted
• Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients, as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development
• Liaising with customers via phone and through the website
• Producing high value tenders covering all aspects of architectural glass and glazing
• Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements

The candidate:

• Proven track record of estimating aluminium and upvc windows and doors
• Experience using LogiKal/window designer or similar software
• Be able to work towards tight deadlines
• Experience in the construction industry and understanding of construction tender drawings
• A minimum of two years’ experience as an Estimator is essential
• To be able to manage own workload
• Proactive, confident and reliable
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
