Responsibilities & Duties
Include but not restricted to:
- Oversee all accounting functions of the business.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded & reported correctly.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, weekly flash reports, product / job costings.
- Monitor cash-flow, debtor collection / working capital.
- Preparing & issuing monthly management information.
- Overall responsibility for payrolls – running monthly payroll.
- Supervising and managing finance team.
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Statutory accounts completion along with statutory returns for VAT, PAYE etc.
- Liaise with auditors.
- Implementation of internal systems to improve control, profitability.
- Ad hoc exercises / trouble shooting.
The successful candidate will be required to work at both Huthwaite and West Bromwich sites.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Qualified (CIMA/ACCA /ACA).
- Three years post qualification experience in a manufacturing or contracting environment preferred.
- Analytical and working to tight deadlines, attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Be IT literate and understanding IT systems.
- Team player
