Responsibilities & Duties

Include but not restricted to:

  • Oversee all accounting functions of the business.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded & reported correctly.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts, weekly flash reports, product / job costings.
  • Monitor cash-flow, debtor collection / working capital.
  • Preparing & issuing monthly management information.
  • Overall responsibility for payrolls – running monthly payroll.
  • Supervising and managing finance team.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Statutory accounts completion along with statutory returns for VAT, PAYE etc.
  • Liaise with auditors.
  • Implementation of internal systems to improve control, profitability.
  • Ad hoc exercises / trouble shooting.

The successful candidate will be required to work at both Huthwaite and West Bromwich sites.


  • Qualified (CIMA/ACCA /ACA).
  • Three years post qualification experience in a manufacturing or contracting environment preferred.
  • Analytical and working to tight deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be IT literate and understanding IT systems.
  • Team player
