Engineering Manager – MM2663

Chase Taylor are recruiting for a leading developer of aluminium glazing products and solutions who have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join their team in Birmingham

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Engineering Department and will have extensive knowledge of the façade and curtain walling sector. Responsibilities include striving at all times to increase knowledge of the companies’ products, services and production techniques and in turn offering support, advice and training to customers, prospects and colleagues. You will design, organise and communicate high quality structured training modules which will provide practical support to fabricators whilst also visiting site environments to instruct installers on correct product application.

It is essential the successful candidate has a proven track record in management and training as you will be required to review staff training and competency, assist with staff personal development and report to the Director the status of the department workload. You will also work in collaboration with the Product Manager and assist with the development new products and conduct customer presentations to improve awareness and promote these new products.
