Estimator – MM3217

Do you want to work for the market leading specialist in the development and marketing of innovative, high performance and sustainable aluminium solutions for windows, doors and building facades? If so our client, based in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to use industry specific estimating software to provide quotations and cutting sheets for fabricators as well as offering back up support for internal departments and external sales teams. You will work alongside customers to ensure contracts are carried out smoothly, including the collating and processing of documentation. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of aluminium window and door systems with experience using aluminium software systems such as Logikal, or similar and be experienced in CAD. You will have the ability to solve technical design problems, knowledge of building regulations and being able to read architects drawings. It is essential candidates have extensive experience of all aspects of glass and modern glazed windows and doors.

The successful candidate will have a methodical and thorough approach to work, excellent attention to detail, organisational and diary management skills with an ability to prioritise workload and stay calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both on the telephone, email, and verbally are required.
