Chase Taylor Recruitment are recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join a leading manufacturer of uPVC building products including windows, doors, fascia systems, guttering and prefabricated building components who is expanding their internal sales division.
You will primarily be responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining customer relationships with active and recently lapsed accounts, taking appropriate sales and pricings actions to encourage continued customer spending. In doing so, you will identify additional sales opportunities and either assign them to branch or regional sales teams depending on the scale and complexity of the opportunity.
There is no cold calling involved, but you must be comfortable being on the phone 3 – 4 hours per day calling clients, re-establishing relationships and upselling when needed.
- Raising and following up quotes
- Manage in bound calls and email activity
- Utilising the company CRM tool to accurately record call activity and results
- Building and maintaining product knowledge and product pricing
It is essential you have previous experience as a sales advisor and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience of the building plastics industry would be highly advantageous.
