RPS Software developed RoofWright for home improvement market
Join Our Customer Support Team: North West England
Client – RPS Software
If you’re a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills we’d like you to join our small friendly support team. The role is home-based with occasional team meet-ups (more so in your initial training period).
You will be logging customer support calls for our PC software and tablet apps, helping the customer where appropriate and escalating more complex cases to other members of the team. We’ll need your feedback on potential product and process improvements to give our customers the best experience we can.
What We Do
We develop software to help professionals sell Conservatories, Orangeries, Garden Rooms, Sunrooms and Bathrooms in the UK, America and Canada. By showing the consumer a 3D presentation of their designs on screen before they buy, we help make things clear for everyone and help our customers sell more.
Our Staff
All our staff are empowered to develop their job roles and put forward suggestions to improve the business and benefit from a profit-based bonus scheme. If you show the potential we will help you grow in the business.
You will need good IT skills, and a knowledge of the Home Improvements sector would be useful but not essential.
We recruit based on a person’s ability to do the job, not on paper qualifications. Our recruitment process is designed to find the right person for the job, not the most qualified. All necessary training will be provided.
We are a small, agile business, and we have a short (10 minute) stand-up meeting for the whole team each morning, where each member of the team identifies any issues and their current tasks, allowing you to keep up to date with other developments in the business.
Responsibilities
Provide 1st line support by answering customer inquiries, solving problems and providing product information via phone or email in a timely and efficient manner.
Log cases on our ticketing system
Log software issues or requests on our quality control systems.
Escalating when necessary.
Provide assistance to customers with credit card and direct debit payments
Supporting users in the use of the software by providing necessary advice and training.
Assisting team members with their cases.
Assisting with updating our Knowledge Base.
Salary and benefits
We offer a starting salary of £25,000 – £30,000. 33 days of holiday a year (including bank holidays) and an early finish on a Friday.
Once you’ve completed the probation period you will be eligible to join our employee benefit scheme. We also operate a share option scheme by invitation.
