A market leading UK manufacturer of domestic and commercial decking systems is seeking a motivated, driven, and experienced Sales Manager to join a proactive sales team. Ideally located on the M62 corridor you will drive sales of the companies decking & terrace systems across the Northern Regions of the UK. You will target and provide commercial and technical support to merchants, installers, contractors, architects, balcony fabricators and leisure and hospitality clients.
Main duties will include:
- Proactively generate, track and convert sales opportunities across the new build and refurbishment sectors
- Provide professional account management for repeat customers and key accounts
- Record activity and sales pipeline in the CRM system
- Log, track and convert sales opportunities into invoiced sales
- Support the wider sales team with training, sales enquiries and conversions
It is essential you will have a strong track record of sales in the building products sector and an established contact network with merchants, contractors and/or developers in the Northern region. Knowledge of decking or other landscaping products and the route to market is highly desirable.
