Senior Estimator – MM3258

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a large window and door company who is looking to recruit a Senior Estimator. The right candidate will have current or previous experience Estimating aluminium windows and doors.

The role:

• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations
• Advising and supporting customer with specification and compliance queries
• Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted
• Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients
• Liaising with customers via phone and through the website
• Liaise with Architects and house builders

The candidate:

• Proven track record of estimating aluminium windows and doors
• Experience using window and door order processing software such as Logikal
• A minimum of 5 years systems knowledge of either Technal or Kawneer
• Experience with, Windloads, Bracket Design, Glass Calculations and U Values
• Be able to use CAD
• Have experience with dealing with Architects and house builders
• Be able to work towards tight deadlines
• Experience in the construction industry and understanding of construction tender drawing is essential
• To be able to manage own workload
• Proactive, confidents and reliable
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
