Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently recruiting for a successful company who manufacture Aluminium Window and Doors. They are looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Logistic Co-Ordinator to join their growing team in Birmingham.

The role:

  • Manage the procurement governance process and strategy across the business
  • Identify and research potential new suppliers
  • Develop supplier relationships to negotiate the best prices for the company
  • Plan inventory purchases
  • Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and inventory control programs
  • Research new products and services to meet the company’s goals
  • Assess the total cost of company’s purchases
  • Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods for services and maintaining stock levels
  • Manage or organize ‘on the day’ transport and equipment

The candidate:

  • Experience within the manufacturing industry is essential
  • Experience in contract implementation and management is essential
  • Experience in Aluminium windows & doors
  • A working knowledge of finance cost management and risk management
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Anticipate change and produce solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A problem solver
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage own time
  • Confidence to manage budgets and undertake financial forecasting
