Transport Coordinator – MM3213

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a busy window and door manufacturer based in Walsall. They are looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join their team. The right candidate will come from a transport coordinator background within the window and door industry.

The role will be working with the transport manager on:

• Keeping schedules and organising team members
• Make sure vehicles are properly maintained and legally compliant
• Arrange repairs and routine maintenance
• Ensuring all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications
• Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
• Maintaining and completing accurate records

The candidate:

• Knowledge of transport methods, costs and benefits
• Be able to manage a team
• Have excellent communication skills
• Manage own workload
• Have complex problem-solving skills
• Analytical thinking skills
