UK Fasteners – Have a new and exciting position available at our offices and warehouse in Longborough, Cotswolds – are seeking an Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager. We are looking for a responsible professional, with a solid grounding of fastener knowledge and/or window sector experience, to join our Management Team. The role is highly important in ensuring the business meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have strong operational management skills, a sharp business mindset, an eye for detail, a willingness to immerse oneself in the Company’s array of business processes, and will also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills will also be very useful.
Responsibilities of the Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager will influence many diverse aspects of the business, including:
Working closely with the Director, UK Fasteners, to achieve effective management of internal systems and procedures for continued operating efficiency, whilst evaluating and recommending changes as appropriate.
Coordinating daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders, and warehousing), including allocating most efficient use of available resources.
With the Senior Storesman, monitoring and maintaining incoming and outgoing inventory.
Assisting the Director, UKF in planning and implementing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Reviewing performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels.
Working with the Director, UK Fasteners, and other Company staff to continually improve the Company’s product sourcing and development.
Supervising and motivating staff to perform their best.
Working with colleagues to ensure the Company’s Quality procedures and Audit requirements are met and exceeded.
Liaising when applicable with the Company’s IT & Accounting functions.

Role Salary:
£35,000-£38,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus Company vehicle or vehicle allowance.
