Job Summary
Based in Dalgety Bay, FIFE, The Merlin Network (Scotland) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of quality PVCu windows, doors & conservatories to the trade in Scotland. This progressive Company has a vacancy for a full time Stock Control Assistant / Storeman.
We require a diligent individual to assist with the company’s stock control procedures and store functions. The duties will include:
• Carrying out the necessary weekly, monthly and rolling stock checks.
• Processing the stock checks in either our MRP system or Sage 50 Accounts, as appropriate.
• Generating raw material return documents and ensure the relevant Excel spreadsheet is updated appropriately.
• Processing returned material in either our MRP system or Sage 50 Accounts, as appropriate.
• Picking and packing the hardware required for our job accessory boxes.
• Providing assistance and holiday cover for the Storemen, as required.
You will preferably have experience of carrying out stock control and Storeman duties and have a working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Excel.
