Job Position: Regional Sales Manager – Trade Branch

We know that our people are our greatest asset, and we are delighted to be growing our team further as we have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to work closely with the Regional Manager in leading the branches across the South East.
You will be field based assisting the region to maximise sales by developing new and existing customer relationships in order to achieve Eurocell PLC requirements in terms of operating costs, health & safety and the long term well-being of the business.
Work with the Regional Operations Manager and Regional Manager to oversee a number of trade branches (c15) across the South East (including Maidstone, Folkstone, Hastings, East London and surrounding areas)
Develop, train and motivate trade branch staff, in conjunction with the Regional Managers
Support the regions activities to assist in the achievement of financial targets
In conjunction with the Regional Manager, carry out activities relating to the branch’s profitability; including sales and operations
Plan and implement sales strategies and business plans within a region, in line with regional sales targets, profit targets and strategic plan
Responsible for the regional sales and development of new and existing customers, through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods
Ensure customer satisfaction in all areas through regular feedback between customers, Branch Sales Managers and Regional Managers
Review customer accounts and build strong relationships with existing customers to improve the volume and profitability of sales in the region
Identify, attract and establish new customers and sales opportunities in line with agreed targets, profit margins and product mix
Plan and implement sales strategies within the region to achieve sales and profit targets
Key Skills / Experience:
Consistent track record of field based business development success and managing trade staff.
Experienced within the building, merchanting or industrial supplies industry
Commercial awareness, with an understanding of negotiation and profit margins
Excellent sales and negotiation skills and be accomplished at preparing and delivering sales presentations to a diverse customer base
Comprehensive and working knowledge of SAP
Strong people management, with excellent communication and motivational skills
Self-motivated, target orientated, proactive in approach and have great commercial acumen
A confident IT user
Driven and enthusiastic with an ability to inspire and motivate others
A “can do”, solution focussed outlook
Authentic, clear communicator with the ability to deliver simple, impactful communications and importantly, not afraid to face tough conversations and own the message
A valid driving licence is essential
