- Assington style door, custom light blue sprayed finish with custom triple glazed leaded top light.
Remember that light blue door sash I showed you the other day? Well what you see above is the finished article, and to be fair, it has turned out quite a bit better than I thought it would!
Though I am not keen on that star burst top light design myself, the colour and style of door actually suits the property well. This was another door set that was completely designed from scratch by the customer and I know they were over the moon with the end result.
We are going to see more and more doors like this in the coming years. The consumer now knows that almost anything is possible with out products now and the thought of yet another white plastic door is shuddering.
As always, thoughts and comments welcome below!
I like it! It goes well with the brickwork of the house. My only comment is if this was my door I’d have more of the panels glazed to let more light in. But I suppose that’s why they have the sunburst at the top. Do you find people lean towards certain colours? I noticed a previous post about a purple door which is also a ‘cool’ colour as opposed to ‘warm’ colours like red or yellow.
I do quite like the colour! (sure many would disagree)
Personally I think the door complements the property well from what can be seen in the photos, it would make you notice when walking past, and not for a bad reason either!
Great job DGB!
Sure they are very happy man … Pass me another spliff dude ;-)
Looks like another Quality John Fredericks Suffolk Door????
looks fantastic (can you fix the links though as I can’t open the photos to have a better look)
