Solidor, today, thanked interim Managing Director Joe Martoccia for his dynamic contribution to the business, and his help in developing a new platform for growth. It wishes him well in his next role. His contract ends in December.

Joe Martoccia explains: “It’s been a great 12 months working with Gareth and the board, implementing change and recruiting a bigger stronger team as the business moves forward to be the No 1 player in the market. I wish them all the best and look forward to my next challenge. I’m proud of what Solidor has achieved.”

“Joe has brought some real dynamism to our business and helped to set the tempo,” says DW3 & Solidor Group CEO Gareth Mobley. “A job well done helping us develop our new platform for growth. We wish Joe well in his next role which is sure to be a success.”

In the last 12 months Solidor has created the manufacturing base, systems and logistics to significantly raise its capacity. It has also laid the groundwork for its sales and marketing to expand the premium sector of the composite door market.

It’s current ‘going-viral’ video, of independent testing of composite doors representing 7 out of 10 doors in the market, has triggered an immediate upturn in new business for Solidor. The video can be seen at www.solidor.co.uk/solidor-tv. Companies seeing the failure of their doors to withstand the new more difficult PAS24 ‘cut test’ are scrambling to sell doors that pass, now that Document Q is mandatory for extensions and new build.
