Job Description:
Garden of Eden (Conservatories) Ltd are looking for a skilled and capable Factory Manager who will play a crucial role in taking the company forward by enabling us to achieve our true potential as a leading u-PVC window and door manufacturer.
Do you have or know someone with the skills, expertise and technical knowledge to fill this role? Do you have the desire to succeed, as well as the motivation needed to get the best out of a team of fabricators?
As Factory Manager, you will take overall responsibility for production across all areas of the factory, encouraging and inspiring your team to maximise production and minimise levels of errors and remakes.
The role also includes:
• Ensuring that manufacturing times and production targets are met, using your organisational skills to make sure that production runs efficiently in line with established quality standards.
• Being pro-active with a forward thinking attitude that will inspire and encourage your team.
• Recruitment and, if necessary, the dismissal of factory employees.
• Monitor and organise staff and staffing levels to provide adequate cover in all sections.
• Training of new and existing fabricators.
Using your technical knowledge to identify and resolve problems as they arise, you will enable us to drive up growth within the factory. With the company focusing on developing the Residence collection, the new Liniar Resurgence range, flush sash windows and aluminium frames, as well as maintaining our standard Liniar u-PVC range and opening a trade counter, we can offer you a fulfilling future of challenges and opportunities.
