Job Position: Team Leader

Job Description:

Listers is a one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of windows and doors, based in Stoke on Trent and we’re growing!

A Team Leader is required to work within the factory, supporting the Production Manager, this position will be leading a team in the production of UPVC frames and windows.

Roles and Responsibilities;
* Process start up and control / Team members are working to the buzzer system
* Meet production targets-prioritize work flow / Measured by internal KPI
* Respond to quality call by team member/ Daily Checks
* Confirm quality – routine checks/ Documentation
* Cover absenteeism/ Daily checks
* Training and cross-training/ Measured by Operations Training Matrix
* Ensure standardised work is followed/ Measured by internal remakes and quality KPI
* Maintain health and safety and PPE standards/ Adhering to safe systems of work sheet
* Monitor time keeping and ensure discipline with-in team members/ Monitor breaks-Holiday chart
* Machine maintenance- operational instructions are adhered to/ Maintenance logs are signed
* Health and safety check sheets and maintenance schedules are followed/ H/S sheets signed
* Facilitate small group activities/Hold Team briefings
* On-going continuous improvement projects/ Improvement meetings with TM
* Housekeeping 5s implementation/ Training to follow
* Risk assessment implementation/ Documentation HR
* Future training such as NVQ Level 2 Team Leader
* First Aid

This position is full time working 7am – 4pm Monday – Friday excluding a 1 hour break ( Additional hours maybe required depending on the needs of the business)
Salary is dependant upon experience
