Job Position: Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description:

Our client, based in Gloucester, manufacturers a wide range of aluminium window and door products. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join and oversee the production process.

The purpose of the role is to assist in the management of the production department. Applicants will ensure the department is run in the most cost effective and efficient manner and agreeing production schedules. You must adhere to all health, safety and wellbeing procedures and guarantee that cost-reducing measures are implemented and upheld. You will monitor stock to ensure sufficient raw materials are available for production needs whilst ensuring the highest quality of goods are manufactured first time, reducing all wastage. Overall you must ensure that all planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.

It is essential that the successful candidate has knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, process flow and automation methodologies. Previous experience within a window and door manufacturing facility is a must.
