Job Description:

ESTIMATOR
We are looking for an Estimator to work on both commercial and domestic contracts in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area.
Duties including estimating commercial and residential projects for windows, doors and a full range of products from drawings to produce cost estimates and quotations to customers both B2B and B2C.
(Ideally educated to OND / HNC Level in Construction based studies, with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position and be experienced working within the construction and/or glazing industry). Applicants must have previous estimating experience and have good computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite applications and be able to demonstrate the use of spreadsheets within the excel platform. You must be self-motivated, have the ability to solve technical problems, have a good understanding of construction practices and materials, have knowledge of building regulations and be able to read from drawings.
The successful candidate will need to be technically minded and must be able to manage own workload and will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and Directors.
Duties will also include assisting the Commercial Manager with preparing method statements, risk assessments.
A full driving licence is a must as the role will require working from the office and occasional travelling to locations within Greater Manchester and surrounding area. Own vehicle required with paid mileage.

Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30
Friday 08:00-16:00
