Please join Masterframe Windows in supporting a wonderful cause in memory of Lewis Walters who sadly lost his five year battle with cancer a year ago on the 18th of September 2020.

Carol Slade, Managing Director of Masterframe says “As our very valued customers and indeed as our friends, we came to know Lewis through our relationship with the Walters family. Lewis was an amazingly spirited young man who quietly braved the many challenges that this awful disease threw at him. He somehow found a truly remarkable strength to cope with the tireless rounds of invasive surgery, chemotherapy and the daily battle of living with cancer.

A devoted Nottingham Forest supporter along with his Dad and Grandfather, he loved the game, and all the ups, and downs of supporting a championship team, aiming for the top. He also loved playing golf with his Dad Rob, Brother Reece and his Uncle Alister. Rachel his mum said of him that he was brilliant company, a fantastic listener and a wonderful son.

As you can imagine, Lewis was an irreplaceable part of his family’s life, and they will always treasure the 19 years they had with this most admirable individual. The courage he displayed during his short life certainly taught us all that whatever the daily challenges we may encounter, we need to face them head-on with dignity and resilience. In a tribute to his son, Rob said, “We could all learn a lot from Lewis”.

Carol continues “In Lewis’s memory we wanted to support a charity close to the family’s heart. Rob and Alister have been valued long-standing members of the Bygone Network since 2002 and as a company, we want to support them and the charity of their choice which is Lauren’s Legacy.”
