Following the completion of Eurocell’s new 260,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art warehouse in Alfreton, the company has reported it has been successfully performing at almost 100% on deliveries for the past three months.

This latest company investment has seen the site maximise its storage capacity available by utilising state-of-the-art racking and introducing modern equipment to improve picking and replenishment times. As a result, Eurocell has been able to further increase the overall operational efficiency at the site to better support its network of fabricators.

Mark Kelly, CEO of Eurocell, comments: “The success of our expanded warehouse and manufacturing facility in Alfreton has been great news for our nationwide network of fabricators. This has allowed us to offer full deliveries over the past three months and be better placed to meet market demands, as well as working with the trade to support them as they secure enhanced business-building opportunities.

“Serving the needs of our supply chain is a top priority for the business and we have been able to aptly demonstrate how we will continue to do this effectively and efficiently in the years ahead, thanks to the forward-thinking and significant investment we have made at the new Alfreton site.”

To further compound the site’s success, Eurocell’s Alfreton warehouse also won ‘Warehouse Initiative of the Year’ at the 2021 Supply Chain Excellence Awards. This latest warehouse investment further future-proofs the business, enabling Eurocell to deliver consistently high levels of service for years to come.
