Ever since the sad demise of the UK Window and Doors Group at the beginning of the month, the industry has been waiting to find out what the fate will be of the individual brands within the group will be.
It appears we may now know what the outcome for Evolution might be, thanks to records now published on Companies House.
Evolution Fabrication Limited
A new filing on the public records site, a new company called Evolution Fabrication Limited was incorporated on October 11th 2023. The company has four Directors; Surjit Singh, Amrick Singh, Richard Gliddon and Duncan Girling. The records show that Surjit is the majority shareholder in the company:

For those who use Evolution, this will come as good news as it should mean the product range, which is a quality one, becomes available again.
There has been no official statement from Evolution, although may come shortly as this becomes public knowledge. There will then be hopes that jobs can be saved and manufacturing can restart as soon as possible at the company.
For those that remember, Surjit was the founder of Evolution back in the late 2000s and was one of the founding companies of the timber-alternative sector within fenestration. It is a well-liked product, and Surjit was a popular and respected figure, credited for the rise of the business and the quality of the product. His apparent return will likely be met with praise.
There will be hopes now that the new business can move on with what is a good product portfolio and with the people responsible for it’s initial success now behind the seemingly reborn company there will be a high degree of anticipation.
