Building Our Skills has announced the launch of new Installation and Surveying Qualifications for the Fenestration, Glass and Glazing industry by NOCN Group.
The qualifications launched at the start of August are: NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Fenestration Installation, and NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Fenestration Surveying. These are the first in a whole suite of new qualifications stemming from the partnership between Building Our Skills and NOCN Group announced earlier this year.
Building Our Skills has championed the development of new qualifications for the industry following extensive consultation with and collaboration from leading players in the industry.
Speaking for Building Our Skills, Director Chris Globe said, “We were delighted to announce our partnership with NOCN earlier in the year, and are even more delighted now to formally launch the first phase of their new set of Qualifications for the industry. Adding to the work that Building Our Skills has been doing for many years now to attract new talent to the industry, these new qualifications will help us support knowledge and development even further, whilst also affording employees already engaged in the industry an opportunity to hone their skills”.
