Exeter Trade Aluminium are a successful and growing business with a friendly team. We manufacture high quality aluminium windows, bi-folding doors and sliding doors at our modern Exeter production facility.

Trade Sales Estimator

We are looking for someone to join our successful team as a Trade Sales Estimator.

As a Trade Sales Estimator you will be an integral member of the team, reporting to the Trade Sales Development Manager. You will establish excellent customer relationships, offer consultative expert advice within the showroom and provide detailed competitive quotes.

Overall Responsibilities:

*Provide customers with excellent customer service from their first point of contact, and throughout the whole buying cycle.
*Act as a point-of-sale contact to prospective customers via the showroom, telephone & email.
*Provide product demonstrations within the showroom, discuss customer requirements and provide expert advice based on their needs.
*Source new business opportunities within target segments.
*Manage and develop inbound warm leads from B2B & B2C prospective customers.
*Keep up to date with the latest market trends, and attend training days when required.
*Build excellent relationships with customers to encourage repeat custom.
*Define customer requirements based on the information they have provided within emails, documents and drawings, in order to provide timely accurate competitive quotations.
*Provide the order processing department with accurate and timely information on the agreed contract.
*Ensure that sales targets are achieved or exceeded.

In summary, you should be:

*A quick learner – you should be able to quickly learn the technical product details and give compelling demonstrations to prospects.
*Articulate – good at communicating both internally and externally. Via the phone, email and face to face.
*Excellent with numbers.
*Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel and Word, with the flexibility to use industry based software (full training will be given).
*Technically minded and have the ability to read technical drawings.
*A logical thinker.
*A team player.
*Motivated, with a can-do attitude.
*Project a professional image to all colleagues and clients in both presentation and behavior.
*Flexible in approach to work and accept reasonable requests to perform other tasks within your capability.
*Have previous sales experience in a related field – full product training will be provided.
*Knowledgeable about the glazing industry, with hands on experience would be advantageous.

Location:
Our Exeter factory & showroom is conveniently located at Sowton Industrial Estate, near the Park & Ride and Digby train station and we also offer on-site parking.
