DGB Jobs has only been live for a short while. In fact I only made it live around this time last week. But, there are already 12, high quality vacancies submitted by companies on there already. That’s around ten more than I thought I would have had by this time!

I have stipulated that DGB Jobs is in a trial period. It is one of a number of new ideas and features that I want to introduce to DGB throughout this year. However, it has taken off far quicker than I thought it might. It’s clear that the jobs market in our industry is an active one.

It’s still in a trial period at the moment. I may make some visual tweaks to the pages as I go along. As more job vacancies are submitted the page is going to become much larger in size. I need to find a suitable way to condense that information on the page, whilst making sure it is all still easy to access and browse.

I may also choose to add a “premium” service to DGB Jobs. Some have mentioned that I should be perhaps charging for this kind of service. I have said that I am not doing this for any money. However, as it develops, I may consider adding a premium option to DGB Jobs, perhaps where companies can pay a small free to have their vacancy displayed permanently at the top of the DGB Jobs Dashboard page. I am yet to decide on that. Once I think the trial period is finished, I’ll make a decision on something along the lines of that.

However, so far so good. There are 12 high quality jobs on there right now, and I hope that companies and agencies will continue to upload positions.

Keep in touch!

As you all probably know, DGB Jobs is 100% free to use. People are free to browse all the live job openings on the Dashboard page, and companies looking to hire are free to upload all their job openings as and when they see fit.

All I ask though from companies using DGB Jobs is to let me know when a job opening has either been filled or the vacancy has expired. All I need is an email, or even a direct message on Twitter to let me know when to take a job opening down. DGB Jobs will work best if the Dashboard page is kept updated and renewed.

Thanks to all those who have used the service so far, I hope that you’ll all continue to use it either to find a new career in UK fenestration or to find the right people for your business as you look to grow and expand.
