TheRole:

Responsible for all production aspects providing operational direction as a foundation for continuous improvement
Maximise profitability by ensuring excellent service delivery
Lead, train, develop and monitor the team’s capability and performance, including excellent internal working relationships with Managers across the business; adopting joined up approach to resolving issues and improving quality.
Responsible for organising and overseeing all H&S aspects
Lead the development of a highly efficient, flexible and ‘lean’ customer focussed operation with robust reporting.

The Person:

Proven track record of production leadership, preferably in the building products industry or from a fast paced batch manufacturing environment of a substantial sized business
An excellent communicator, with vision, determination and integrity.
Passionate, principled, ambitious and customer focussed
Skilled in the use of lean methodology to reduce waste, increase profitability and deliver ‘what the customer wants’.
