Job Position: Trainee Estimator

Career Level: Entry level – some estimating experience preffered

Job Description:

Full time Estimator required for established & expanding aluminium fabrication company based in Bromborough, Wirral.

Duties will include:

Printing and logging tender enquiries
Inputting jobs into our software packages
Speaking with suppliers to negotiate the best price for items within the tender e.g. glass
Formulating overall costs and submitting detailed specifications to potential clients
Chasing up quotations with clients and negotiating with them to secure the contract

Requirements:

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Excellent phone manner, and previous experience speaking to customers over the phone.
Previous experience liaising with clients
Excellent attention to detail required
Industry experience preferred
