DGB Launches Host Of New Advertising Options

I took a look at the advertising slots available on DGB the other day. I’ve always thought that there weren’t enough, give the diversity of niches within our overall market.

As you may or may not know, each ad slot is exclusive to the company in that area. So, for example, Morley Glass have the IGU ad slot. Whilst they occupy that, no other IGU supplier can advertise on here. I have done that for a few reasons. One, to make sure I don’t stray into the world of conflict of interests and competition between more than one company of the same type on here. That could be awkward. Two, to make each slot more exclusive to the company first to the post. Three, to ensure I don’t create way too much work in running this site.

So, I’ve been looking at what I do and don’t have on DGB in terms of ad slots and have decided to add a lot more. To make this simple, this is my full lists of slots and what is/isn’t available. The brand new categories are highlighted in Blue:

This expansion comes as part of a wider plan to expand the DGB ecosystem in 2018. I have a number of new DGB services that are due to go live at the start of 2018. These are currently under construction and once live are all designed to expand the reach and influence of DGB, as well as increasing traffic to the site. I’m normally quite open about these, but on this occasion I’m going to keep things quiet until the day of their launches. One thing I can say though, is that these new services will be of use to everyone in the industry, and will be a call for others to up their game.
