Job Position: Trade Counter Assistant – Swindon
Job Description:
As a member of the Swindon Trade Counter Team you will be working in a varied role. Assisting in the day to day running of the trade counter, warehousing, quoting and order processing, the majority of work will be administration customer service focused with warehousing and the occasional driving also required.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
To quote effectively, efficiently and accurately, and to check own work before sending out to the client to confirm.
• Involves accurately and competently taking customer orders via telephone, answering machine and email and processing them through the computer system.
• Administration of sales order processing in line with the company procedure, to include; Taking and Processing of sales orders.
• Electronic and hard copy file management.
• To communicate well with customers and show a high standard of customer service. Dealing with customer queries effectively & efficiently
• To be able to manage own workload and support rest of the team, to ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner.
• General warehouse work.
• Driving / delivering on occasions
• Undertaking any other duties as may reasonably be required to support the team
• Full Driving License
• IT competence and PC Skills including use of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail ensuring accurate order processing.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise and plan, manage several key issues concurrently.
• Ability to communicate at all levels – written, verbal, facilitator, presentation.
• Demonstrate personal integrity

• Proactive and confident – able to adapt to new requirements
