This July Deceuninck and VBH co-hosted their annual customer golf day at the Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Wiltshire. This popular event, now in its sixth year, saw customers and suppliers come together to enjoy a day’s golf and hospitality in a prestigious setting.

Guests enjoyed ideal playing conditions on the PGA Championship Golf Course, along with a healthy dose of competition! Martin Carter, Mike Skerret, Sam Wilds, and Ben Judd formed the winning team from Birmingham Glass with a combined two best score of 92 points (-20). Ben also won joint top place in the individual competition with Lucy Richmond from Castle Building Supplies topping the ladies’ leader board. Both Lucy and Ben scored an impressive 42 points (- 6). There was another joint win in the longest drive, with Lucy Richmond and Sam Wilds both hitting 280 yards. The competition finished with a dinner, prize giving and evening drinks.

Chris Jones, Deceuninck Sales Director said: “I’d like to thank colleagues, our co-hosts VBH and the team at Bowood for making this year’s golf day one of the best yet! Once again we enjoyed good weather, a high standard of golf and delicious food. It was a fantastic day from start to finish, and great to catch up with customers and suppliers in beautiful surroundings.”

Simon Monks, Managing Director of VBH (GB) added: “Like Deceuninck, we look forward to our annual golf day and meeting customers, partners and suppliers in a relaxed setting. This year’s event was no exception and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We strive to build long-term relationships and the golf day is a great way of saying ‘thank you’ to our customers.”
