Job Position: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Our client, based in Lancashire, is a market leading manufacturer of upvc and aluminium bifold, patio and composite doors who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

You will be a critical part of the team and maintain the production equipment to minimize downtime and maximise production output. You will create and deliver a planned maintenance programme, react to breakdowns and technical issues and provide safe, reliable and fit for purpose engineering solutions. Working with the management team you will also support with improvement projects, ensure H&S compliance and communicate to the business the technical state of each engineering activity.

The successful candidate will have experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance engineering and engineering qualifications (including 17th Edition electrical). Experience of operating within a manufacturing environment and Lean Sigma is highly advantageous

You must possess strong communication and people skills and be highly analytical and proactive in approach. It is essential that you have worked with Emmegi CNC machines previously.

The successful candidate will also be flexible in approach, self-motivated, have strong decision making and attention to detail skills.
