Job Position: Sales Estimator

Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Sales Estimator to join a successful and well-established company that specialise in high specification glazing products. The role will be based from their modern well-equipped showroom in Devon but will also involve travel to site to meet with builders and architects from time to time in order to deliver a first class service.

You will be providing technical advice and guidance, carrying out surveys for pricing purposes and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively. This will include generating quotes from construction drawings and ensuring that all information contained within specifications is understood, qualified and processed correctly. The role will include inviting customers into the showroom to demonstrate products and ensure that all the customer’s requirements are met, providing bespoke solutions to suit including generating CAD drawings of schemes to show to the customer. This is a varied and busy role, reporting into the Sales Manager working Mon-Fri with some Saturday mornings.

To be considered, applicants should be able to demonstrate good sales skills using a consultative approach and be knowledgeable within glazing. Good IT skills will be required and experience of using CAD would be a real bonus. Candidates will need to be confident communicators with excellent presentation and listening skills and should be committed to providing excellent customer care at all times.

The hours of work are 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri with one Saturday morning every month. As well as a competitive basic salary the company offers a company bonus scheme and opportunities for further career progression.
