Trade and retail fabricator Bedfordshire Windows has just invested in a new TT405 Double Mitre Saw from machinery experts, Haffner Murat.

Tom Pitts, Director at Bedfordshire Windows, said: “We saw a dramatic uplift in sales following the first lockdown and we needed to upscale our production fast. Automation gives us the ability to do this quickly and easily. The TT405 Double Mitre Saw automates profile cutting and gives us the speed we needed.”

The machine is the second Bedfordshire has purchased from Haffner Murat. Last year, the company invested in a FOM Industrie Adir C CNC Machining Centre to help meet the growing demand for its aluminium bi-folding doors. Tom said: “We knew from our experiences dealing with Haffner last year that we could trust their ability to meet all our requirements when we needed new machinery this year.”

Bedfordshire Windows is a company going from strength to strength. Production has trebled in 2020 and it has taken on an additional 17 members of staff. It currently supplies trade customers within a 50-mile radius of its Kempston base and has plans to expand further. As well as investment in automation machinery, the company has moved into a new 7,000 sq ft manufacturing plant.

The company’s growth is showing no signs of slowing down and it will be investing in another two new machines from Haffner Murat in the coming months. Tom commented: “Quality matters and when you find a supplier you know and trust, it pays to stick with them.”

With a healthy order book going into the New Year, the future is looking bright for Bedfordshire Windows. And that’s especially true with Haffner Murat as its reliable machinery supplier.
