After such a disastrous first quarter due to one of the worst winters in recent years, FENSA is now reporting a very strong come back in the second quarter of this year.

April, May and June all saw growth, which is the first set of three consecutive months of growth since 2007. April was up 11.3%, May was up 2.9% and June was up a massive 12%, all compared to the same months in 2012.

It is very welcome news to the industry after such a hammering in the first quarter of this year. I have stated in previous posts that once the poor weather breaks and signs of spring start to show, people will come out of their houses and see what works need doing to their homes. There always tends to be a bit of a bounce after bad weather. But the longer the weather persists, the bigger the bounce will be. Hence the massive jumps in both April and June.

The next quarter is something I really am looking forward to reading. After such great weather so far this month, I am anticipating another boost in installations and hopefully FENSA will report on another strong quarter.
