As far as product launches go, this year has been a very busy one. I have written about plenty of new products to hit the market so far this year on Double Glazing Blogger. And as we enter the final few months of this year, that trend looks set to continue. Here’s a quick look at three companies looking to make waves in the window and door industry.

Raum

Remember Raum? Their last tweet was 48 days ago. They were building up a steady energy online, and then it fell quiet.

However, I happen to know that something is about to be announced very soon. I suspect that it won’t be long before the unveiling of Raum to the rest of the industry. After an email I was given, Raum’s introduction to the industry won’t be that long.

Raum

As ever, once Raum is out there in the open, it will be given the usual DGB treatment. I hope it’s good. It’s been billed as a range of products designed to sit at the high end of the market. If there are weaknesses, you can be sure that the industry will pick them apart. It’s tough out there!

Origin

Next up is Origin, who, according to this tweet, have two industry first’s coming in October:

Judging by their preview page, U-Value and design are going to take centre stage of Origin’s announcements.

Origin have changed the way the industry operates lead times. They were one of the first companies to introduce flexible lead times, allowing customers to order their products and have them delivered in the matter of a couple of days. Expectations will be high from a company whose customer’s have come to expect the best.

Synseal

As far as new products go, I see Synseal’s Warmcore as one of the most successful product launches in the industry for quite a while.

Warmcore bi-folding doors

They’re not selling thousands per month, but then again, this is a product not based on volume, but on smaller, quality-focused quantities, being sold by the right installers, being made by the right fabricators.

Given the success of the door range, I would keep an eye on Synseal at the end of the year. The Warmcore family might be about to get bigger.

It’s great to see competition like this in the industry. It is what drive the UK sector forward. As we near the end of the year, questions will be asked of what we will see in 2016.
