There is no question that DGB has grown massively over the past few years, transforming into something I couldn’t have imagined even a few years ago. It has opened doors for me which in turn has allowed me to expand what this site does and the type of content it brings to readers in the fenestration industry.

Part of that growth has of course been with the number of companies who have chosen to advertise with me on here. You only need to look at the right hand side of this post to see the mix of very high quality companies who are advertising right now. More are due to be announced in the coming weeks and months too. It’s their financial investment that has allowed me to turn this into a proper business and grow it into something that has challenged and changed how this industry does media.

However, this site is built on what I write. That’s how it started and it stands on it’s own within UK fenestration media. I will write about and approach subjects that won’t always be thought about. I’ll tackle things others won’t for fear of upsetting others. This is what got the site off the ground and this is what I will continue to do so long as this site is alive.

So, in an effort to keep that content front and centre I have created a sub-section on here called DGB Opinion. You can find it by clicking here or by going to the home page and clicking the big blue button that sits just under the most recent posts published. This new page on DGB will collate all of my own original content. No PR, no business, no jobs. Just the ramblings that have come forth from me.

My aim is to make sure that the site continues to put forward the unique and original industry content that it was built on. My own unique place in this sector, sandwiched between working for an installer, this and the NFAs gives me a viewpoint of the industry very few people have. I intend to keep making the most of that.

I hope you all find DGB Opinion useful.
