Andy Jones has announced he is to step down as Victorian Sliders Group Managing Director after two years. Here is his statement:

Since my appointment as Group MD in 2019 we have embarked on an investment strategy that has enabled us to scale the business rapidly, and we have seen a real transformation during that time and we’re on track for 70% growth.”

However, the nature of the role and location requires a regular 500 mile round-trip and so it is time for me to explore new challenges and opportunities. I leave the business in great shape and on a rapid growth trajectory.

The founder of Victorian Sliders, Scot Starkey, commented:

Andy has brought a great deal of management expertise to the business and been instrumental in our recent growth. We would like to thank him for his contribution to our company and we wish him well as he pursues new opportunities.

A 500 round trip that has to be done on a regular basis certainly is a very good reason to seek new opportunities, especially in a world where remote working and flexible working is very much the way forward for business. I wish Andy Jones all the very best in his search for his next career step in the fenestration industry.
