The National Fenestration Awards have announced that they are to hold a dual Winners Event on November 6th 2021. It is due to be held at the popular Doncaster Racecourse, which is set to host the final flat race of the 2021 season. This is a marquee event in the horse racing calendar is going to be broadcast on two television channels.

The dual celebration will recognise the 2020 winners with their own trophy ceremony at the start of the day. Then, after the racing has been completed, for the first time ever in the history of the NFAs the winners of the current 2021 calendar will also be announced.

In 2020, the National Fenestration Awards were the only industry event to continue throughout the pandemic, thanks to the awards being conducted online. They were the sole bright spot for the sector in what was one of the toughest periods the sector had endured.

Now, in 2021, the NFAs remains the largest and most inclusive fenestration industry awards, with nominations in this year’s competition already in the thousands.

With the event due to be held on November 6th, this has meant some date changes to the 2021 calendar:

NOMINATIONS CLOSE: 10pm SUNDAY AUGUST 29th

SHORTLISTS ANNOUNCED: 9pm TUESDAY AUGUST 31ST

VOTING GOES LIVE: 10am FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 3rd

VOTING CLOSES: 11pm THURSDAY NOVEMBER 4th

WINNERS ANNOUNCED: 2021 WINNERS EVENT – SATURDAY NOVEMBER 6th

This means that there is a week left for the industry to submit all nominations. Via the new simple nomination form which can be found on the National Fenestration Awards website, all nominations in all categories can be submitted in just a few minutes.

As always, the competition for companies to make the shortlists phase is high, so the more nominations that are submitted the better the chance is of your chosen people and companies to make it to the final stage.

Director Jason Grafton-Holt said: “after the pandemic forced us to postpone our usual festivities in April 2020, it’s fantastic to be able to announce an event that will recognise both the 2020 and 2021 winners. This is our first dual event and the first where we’ll be announcing the current calendar year’s winners at a dedicated live event. It’s set to be a packed day and night, with wonderful entertainment and service provided by the brilliant team and venue at Doncaster Racecourse. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there!”

Information on tickets, venue and hotel hire will be live on the NFA website later this week. People can follow the National Fenestration Awards on Twitter: @NatFenAwards or Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NatFenAwards for all the latest updates on this story and as the 2021 campaign progresses.

The nominations phase of the 2021 National Fenestration Awards remains open until 29th August at 10pm, and all those still wishing to take part can visit www.fenestrationawards.co.uk/nfa21/ to submit nominations.
