It has been a while since the last poll or survey of any kind on DGB, so I thought now would be a good time to take the temperature of installers as we approach autumn.
There is no doubt that 2026 has proved to be a challenging year. With another war to contend with, and the ripples in the commodity sector, general economic malaise, and continued cost-of-living pressures on families, fenestration installers have had a lot to contend with this year.
This short poll is designed to take a snapshot of where installers feel they are this year. What have been the successes, problems, and where expectations lie for the rest of this year and beyond.
Once enough data has been collated to produce results worthy of reporting, I will share them on DGB and my social channels. The poll will run for as long as it needs to.
