I thought it might be time for me to ask you guys what you would like me to talk about next. This blog is here to encourage debate and discussion, so I thought it might be time to ask you guys what you think would make the next big blog post idea.
I know it’s Sunday, but if you have any ideas please leave them below as a comment and I will try to do a post on all of them.
Night!
I’d like to see a post about the latest situation with The Green Deal and ask peoples intentions on how they are going to deal with it, i.e. are they going to participate or just ignore it. And do they see Green Deal orders forming a substantial part of their business.
As this is an important issue that is getting closer to being implemented and that will affect the industry, I think it needs looking at.
Cheers David! I’m on with this as we speak!
Nice to hear every bodies thoughts on the doc L consultative document.
Cheers Peter. I’ll look into getting this into a post shortly!
I’d like to hear what the halo fabricators, installers and employees think of Veka as it’s coming upto a year since the takeover. Have Veka done what they said they would and improved things? Are things getting better? Maybe a interview with the boss of Veka.
Hi Anon!
Funny you should say that! I have an interview coming up with a very high ranking member of VEKA very soon! Awaiting answers to questions I sent to him. Should be with me by the end of the week!
you should get the side of the employees and customers too, i bet there different
Veka are struggling with experience and manning levels , real chance of losing major customers , take over and relocation to Burnley did not run as smooth as they thought it would , they are struggling big time. heads will roll .

The remedial costs can be staggering. Some are so bad, just dotting packers in place will still destroy the units fitted. The GGF do a very good data sheet on this compatability issue (you can work your online synergies to obtain that!) , as do Tremco. Very relevant topic and important for PVC, ali and timber instalations. I’ve seen them all… Read more »
